During the 2017 to 2018 academic year, undergraduate Sigma Chi chapters and members of their communities donated a Fraternity record $1.9 million to the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) in Salt Lake City. Of the 185 chapters that raised money for HCI, six chapters helped raise over $50,000 each and 30 chapters helped raise over $20,000 each.
